Toddler Annabelle

And now, Annabelle is officially a toddler! We had a little celebration for her on her 1st birthday... or was it more a celebration for the mother and father? 

My sis n 2nd bro and sil and Ching Wei was around to celebrate with us too... and they brought along lots of toys for the little one. Thank you so much for everyone's presents! I must say she is very pampered with all the presents that she got from everyone. Thanks again! And I must say daddy and mummy never got so much presents during their birthdays... So, she is indeed a lucky one!

Annabelle can now walk around the house. And she is really enjoying it. Enjoying her independence I would say. She would stay with us for a while, then start walking to wherever she wants and come back again. I am sure she is very proud that she can finally walk around... and touch whatever things that she previously can't. Oh well, I must say it is good for her and for us too! She should explore. She now have 8 teeth, 1 that came just after her birthday. And she really likes to bite! Papa's finger, toe, nose... and everything else. And she now knows that when she is more persistent than us in crying, she will get what she wants... so, really looks like she is the KING now. But, slowly, it is time to start to discipline her... else when she gets older, headache oh!

The Great Germany Weather

Raining when I woke up, snowing when I was having breakfast then the sun was shining when I am done feeding and left for my class. All within 1.5 hrs. Isn't that GREAT!? 

And the sun continued shining until noon time when my class was about to finish, and then the sky turns gloomy and there comes the snow and rain again. And after I arrived home, the sun was shining again. And then gloomy again... and the snow during the evening was the heaviest that I have seen... Life will never be boring with the GREAT Germany weather right?

Fruity Sunday

Strawberries, kiwis, bananas, pears, plums and apples for a fruity Sunday dinner. Getting healthy lately, eat by example... And also weight watching :) The colors of the mixture looks cool right?

The first tooth is out!

10pm, 12am, 2am, 4am, 5am, 6am - that is the regular hours that Annabelle wakes up crying in the middle of the night for the past few nights... Help us!

We felt the first tooth cutting out on the 4th and thought the nights will be better, but she is still waking up every 2 hours and wants to be nursed... I wonder if it is the tooth that is causing this or growth spurt or she is just waking up at night and wants to get some comfort... HELP!

The Weather Sucks!

I thought spring is coming... or so that was what people here are saying. But it was snowing again on Thursday and Friday. Well well well, welcome to Germany's great weather!

So it was snowing and snowing and I had my first experience driving while it was snowing... Nothing special though. Just got to be more careful!

And I went for my first yoga class with my SIL. It is cool, relaxing and fun! Stretch stretch stretch... mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm. But I forgot all the steps already. I think age is catching up! 

The Spring is Coming

After the very hot weather in Malaysia, I must admit that I look forward to some cold weather, but not too cold of course... and the weather here in Germany is slowly improving, at least no longer the -ve temperature... but +ve now... and yesterday, the temperature is up to 18degrees... 

So of course, the must do is to go out for a walk and have an ice cream! Alex couldn't resist to start BBQ, so here is what we got for our dinner... nicely grilled beer can chicken. Cool right?

Back to School

Bag packed with a course book, notebook and 2 pens, water for during the class and a packet of peanut butter biscuit for snack... I am back to school... for German lessons... Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 12.30pm... till November! Help me to stay awake!

Back in Germany

After staying in Penang for 5wks, we arrive back in Germany yesterday. It was a very long journey back. The flight from Singapore to Paris was 13.5 hours. Not a very good option to fly... but no choice as this is the only flight available to fly back. A positive side though, we saw some very nice Paris cloud from the plane. How beautiful the nature is.

5wks is not that long after all. The time in Penang passed by too fast. First it is getting ready for CNY, then CNY then of course catching up with friends in Penang, then getting things ready to go back to Germany. Too short too short! But no complaints... At least we were back in Penang.

Annabelle made lots of progress for the last 5wks. She has learned to turn from back to tummy and vice versa... and also to sit unsupported on her own...  Doesn't she look like a big girl? And the big girl is going to be 6mths tomorrow... Time sure passes by very fast!
